How can we accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in European companies and sectors? At the Apply AI Summit, the European Commission will bring together representatives from the business community, startups, and policymakers to focus on this question. The event will take place on November 17, 2026, in Brussels and online.
The Summit marks one year since the launch of the European Apply AI Strategy and also serves as the closing event of the first European AI Innovation Month. The event will focus primarily on the practical application of reliable, human-centered, and innovative AI. European examples demonstrate how AI is already being used and the economic and societal impact these applications can have.
What to expect.
The program consists of plenary sessions, panel discussions, in-depth parallel sessions, and demonstrations. Topics include AI and robotics, AI in the manufacturing industry, agri-food, healthcare, energy, mobility, cybersecurity, climate, the AI Act, and Frontier AI. The first Apply AI Startup Award will also be presented during the Summit.
The in-person event can accommodate approximately 900 participants. In addition, up to 2,500 participants can join via the online platform. Some of the sessions will be streamed online, and participants can use the platform to learn more about the European AI innovation ecosystem.
